New production enterprises begin work.

In the current difficult economic conditions, the activation of investment activities is a priority in the social and economic development of  Smolensk region. As part of the working trip, the Governor visited the production sites of two investment projects, implemented with the support of regional authorities.

Investment policy in  Smolensk region is aimed at the emergence of innovative industries, the introduction of advanced technologies, the production of competitive products, the creation of new jobs, which ultimately ensures the stability of the regional budget in the form of a tax component and gives the opportunity to save the amount of investments.

The first object in the visit program was an enterprise for the production of high-quality juices and nectars, which in the near future will be produced in Krasninsky district. The company was registered on the territory of the region in 2014 as part of the implementation of the investment project "Construction of production for bottling juices." The total investment of the project will be about 240 million rubles. At the moment, the region's economy has already invested 150 million rubles. The owner of the enterprise  specializes in the production of high-quality juices and nectars under the brands "Dary Azerbaijana ", "Azerbaijan Granat", "Brill" and supplies its products to many regions of Russia and the CIS countries.

Why did the company choose  Smolensk region? As one of the company's top managers Vugar Yusifov noted, investors chose professional and thoughtful selection of the production site, analyzing the investment climate in a number of regions:  «The main reasons that guided us in choosing  Smolensk region are obvious. The region turned out to be the most interesting and suitable place for us from the point of view of good logistics and investment conditions. Here is a favorable investment climate, because we receive support from the regional administration.».

In the plans for the next year - the modernization of water treatment and transformer substations. Further, investors set themselves the task of increasing the covered production area by 1 thousand square meters.  As part of this ambitious project, reconstruction of buildings and structures, drilling of an artesian well, construction of a boiler house, expansion of a beverage dispensing shop, improvement of its own and adjacent territory are expected. In addition, equipment for blending and production of beverages in glass, for bottling beverages will be purchased. There will also be a modern logistics complex, oriented to the needs of production.

At the moment, the company's staff  consists of  92 people. The company is not going to stop on the achieved results: in the future it is planned to create up to 200 workplaces.

 

Investors assured the Governor that the tasks set are real and feasible, of course  with the help of the regional leadership. It is worth noting that the total amount of subsidies provided by Administrations of the region in 2014-2015 is 5 million rubles.

Having carefully studied the production, Alexei Ostrovsky instructed the head of the regional department of investment development Rostislav Rovbel to work with the company's management on the production of products under the Smolensk brand: «I welcome any business, but with an important condition - strict observance of the current legislation and work strictly within the legal framework field. Taking into account the fact that the enterprise, as you say, comfortably settled and works in Smolensk , it would be nice for us – both for the regional authorities and Smolensk native people, if Smolensk region will be represented in the name of the products and juices produced».

Also, the Governor payed special attention to the possibility of cooperation with agricultural enterprises of Smolensk, engaged in gardening: some of them grow wonderful apples, the others process them into a delicious and healthy juice. In addition,  the trend of .
